is there a way for a h-4 to work by filing some sort of paper×

I would prefer that there is information on: the depression triggered by being unable to work and being dependent on another for their basic needs, added to the lack of social contact, when on an H4. It is a serious enough issue that has to be mentioned here. rt (talk) 16:27, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Depression is indeed a serious issue. Lack of work may increase a person's chances of having depression. However, this article is about the H-4 visa, and only information about the visa itself should be included. ~ Quacks Like a Duck (talk) 13:31, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is a quite a controversy about this visa. It is worth mentioning it in an encyclopedia.--Sylvain Corlay (talk) 22:54, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I have not seen any controversy about the H-4 visa. Any references? There is controversy about the H-1B visa, and that is covered extensively there. jfeise (talk) 19:58, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New laws about work authorisation

[edit]

Could this expand on which "certain" H4 holders are now eligible to work and who still aren't? --Melarish (talk) 09:14, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
